Ελληνική Κληρονομιά

My heritage has always been a source of pride and confusion. Too loud to be ‘British’. Too polite to be ‘Greek’. My whole life I wanted to fit in these boxes of ‘Greek’ and ‘British’. Finally after many years I understood that the happiness I feel when I talk about my Greek heritage makes me Greek. And the satisfaction I get having a cup of tea after a long day makes me British! My Mother is my best friend, my rock, my universe. Without her I would be lost into the darkness. Ελληνική κληρονομιά is a tribute to her and the wonderful stories she told me about Greece as a child.
